Plantation Drive at Azad Jammu and Kashmir University of Bhimber

According to the mission of the Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq’s vision “Clean and Green Kashmir,” and the President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir’s initiative, a tree plantation campaign was launched at the University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir in Bhimber. As part of this campaign, trees were planted within the university premises. Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Brigadier (Retired) Yunus Javed sab, Dr. Abid Hussain (Registrar), Bushra Khalid (District Councilor, Bhimber), Dr. Muhammad Saim Hashmi (Treasurer), Muhammad Javed (Forest Officer, Bhimber), Dr. Abdul Haseeb (Director QEC), along with other faculty members, students, and staff participated in the tree plantation drive. During this initiative, a total of 620 trees were planted.

The University extends its heartfelt gratitude to Bushra Khalid Chaudhary (District Councilor) and Muhammad (Forest Officer) for their unwavering support in providing a diverse range of plants. Their dedication and collaboration with our staff ensured the successful completion of the tree plantation activity. We deeply appreciate their commitment to our mission of creating a cleaner and greener environment.
